Candyland Sweet - Mvt 2 - Gloppy and the Molasses Swamp

Candyland Sweet (intentionally misspelled from the musical term Suite) is a 4 movement work that depicts various characters and locations found in the Board Game of the same name.  Candyland was first published in 1949 and while gameplay has remained the same, the characters and locations found throughout the fictional territory have changed slightly.  

Movement 2 of Candyland Sweet is based on Gloppy and the Molasses Swamp.  Gloppy was a friendly monster typically made of chocolate or molasses.  Gloppy was typically found in the Molasses Swamp, although in later versions of the game the swamp was replaced by the Chocolate Swamp.

This is a great short feature for Low Brass and Low Woodwinds.
