Candyland Sweet - Mvt 3 - Princess Lolly and the Candy Cane Forest

Candyland Sweet (intentionally misspelled from the musical term Suite) is a 4 movement work that depicts various characters and locations found in the Board Game of the same name.  Candyland was first published in 1949 and while gameplay has remained the same, the characters and locations found throughout the fictional territory have changed slightly.  

Movement 3 of Candyland Sweet portrays Princess Lolly and the Candy Cane Forest.  Princess Lolly was one of the original characters, with the Candy Cane Forest also one of the original locations.  In 2002 Princess Lolly had the Princess title removed, but it came back in the 2012 edition of the game.  The movement tries to bring the picture of the innocent little girl prancing through the forest filled with the sugary snacks. 

This movement is a feature for the upper woodwind section.
