Written about the constellation of a swan. The opening and closing motifs (written for large percussion sections) serve as a reference to the stars in the sky, while the main melody is written as a waltz to portray the gracefulness of the swan. Ranges stay within a very manageable range and doubling is written in across parts so the song is playable by smaller ensembles as well as larger groups.
